The castle and it's history

The splendid chimney decorating the vestibule, the huge staircase made of hewn limestone as well as the rectangular main towers date back to the beginning of the 16th century.

Restored in the 19th century, the red brick façade with the round towers and the framings of trimmed sandstone give the whole construction a very distinctive appearance.

This "jewel of it’s own" is surrounded by a magnificent park of approximately 20 acres planted with majestic trees like ghinko, oak and copper-beech, many of them several hundred years of age. A large pond, rich with fish, gives the final touch to this beautiful landscape.

A careful renovation in 1998 has permitted to keep intact the Château’s original character equipping it at the same time with all the modern comfort.
